When we see a woman wearing a headscarf or fully covered in a hijab, what preconceived ideas come to mind? Nadia Hassan, Executive Director of the Young Leaders Institute, is a also a media commentator and social justice advocate. Nisa Muhammed, conference and dialogue organizer, is Chaplain and Assistant Dean for Religious Life at Howard University. Join the conversation as they discuss and dispel myths about women in Islam.
